JUNXTIMAPIA

"Lets go trekking this weekend" - an idea which time and again sparks when a group of jigree-dosts converse, follows with it is a seemingly never ending google session (just to zero-in on a trek spot), next comes the painstakingly hard job of preparing an itinerary (compromising a possible place of visit - in favor of accommodating greedy shopping needs of the girlies in the group), not to forget the confusing job of figuring out the place of stay...
With no exception, all of the above (and many more) are nothing but just the monotonic routines encountered time over time a travel were 2 b taken up.
Ever wondered, at the incapability of such monotones in jading people away from taking a travel? Ever realised, at why people never get mundane over it? Why do people never see it as a pointless slog? Ever tried seeing the long, unending roads as a detour from loved ones and from life?
Some of the above questions make us laugh and while the rest of the others make us wince -- the similarity however lies over the fact that, THEY ALL RING TRUE!!They all remind us of why we travel:
- It could perhaps b d excitement in stretching r limits,
- It may well be the appreciation of the world at large,
- You never know - it could even be the joy of clicking pictures and uploading it at a public forum.

Without further ado, the blogger leaves it to those passionate travel buffs (to ponder upon). Their never ending passion to explore a new place - ignites an urge in him, to follow suit.
The blogger designates this page 'Junx-ti-MAPia' to be an electronic log of both, his 'rarely-retroactive' and the 'impendingly-frequent' traveler-adobe. P.S: In addition to any future trips the blogger would take, he is also including all of his long-forgone trips as well. To further on it, the blogger also hopes that this page would help foster a forum to discuss and share knowledge on travel.
However, as the blogger keys in these text - he also admits that he is just an aspiring traveler... He is counting on you readers and also his girlfriend (who he thinks has trekked, hiked and biked most part of South-India) to seek ideas and inspirations from.
Lets see...
