Venkat aka settie

          We were studying school then..(We studied together since 7th grade)I was used to having friends frequenting my home a lot... One such evening, Venkat was at my place and he was like "I am gonna inherit my father's business"
          Like any other well wisher would do I suggested him to take up college, have fun for 3 years and decide upon it later (ofcourse I spiced it up with my peelasophy - I am good at it...you know) and this boy went on to do undergrads in PSG(a renowned college in SouthIndia). Whereas, I was in crescent(again - a renowned engineering college in SouthIndia) doing bachelors in computers... Guess wat! Fate brought us together-in-same-campus once again as he chose my college for his masters in business.
          As many of you would know, I had my girlfriend in the same college then... and on the first intro, venkat told her, "Had imteyaz not been there, I would have rotten at my Fathers shop" Boy! His was a compliment, I'll ever value most! Felt like, I did something tremendous in life, felt like - God's had me assigned this role then... Honestly speaking, I am taking too much credit! (who cares, he said it, didnt he? by the way - not many appreciate my peelasophies)
          Looks like I've blown my trumpet a wee bit here (sorriees). Getting back to Venkat, I know no one who can assess people better (he had it this trait back then itself.. Dont know, if experience can teach him any extra), Venkat had all the early signs of a manager - like who to assign wat, he had all the early signs of an entrepreneur - like how to get things done, he could even bribe my class teachers (for real)... Wont ever forget our pursuits to nab board exam question papers at a very early 10th grade... we were just 15 back then. While the whole world was busy studying, we were planning on how to go about the shortcuts...
